MDCC District Leaders
A District Leader is an unpaid volunteer elected official of the Montclair Democratic County Committee (MDCC). District Leaders are elected by registered Democratic voters in their neighborhoods. District Leaders represent their Democratic neighbors at county and state Democratic conventions. They also formally select candidates for partisan office.
We have 4 wards and each ward contains 8 - 10 districts. Two District Leaders are elected to each district; therefore, we currently we have 70 elected members of the MDCC.
