General Election overview

The Presidential Election is Tuesday, November 3, 2020

Due to COVID-19 (coronavirus) all registered voters in New Jersey will be mailed a ballot for the November General Election. Ballots will be mailed by each county by October 5, 2020 and should arrive no later than the second week of October.

Vote Early

Three ways to Vote: Return your Ballots either by Mail or Drop Box or in person on Election Day.

All voters are strongly encouraged to vote by returning your ballot as soon as possible so it reaches the Election Officials by the deadline. The County is adding secure drop boxes around the state to ensure voters can drop their ballots instead of mailing

You may choose to vote in person at designated locations. In Montclair it will be Municipal Building at 205 Claremont Street, Montclair NJ 07042.  You will be given a paper or Provisional Ballot at the Voting Location.
